Replacement of approximately 1,760 LF of existing concrete pile & panel seawall with new Steel Sheet Pile (SSP), 14” x 14” x 40’ concrete batter pile at 4’ o.c. spacing, concrete cap with MMFX reinforcing rebar, fiber mesh concrete. Replacement of approximately 1,300 of existing wood dock with new structural timber framing and new composite decking. Existing wood dock piles were extracted and reused (at owners’ request). With the new dock/marina, the project required the installation of new Marine utilities; including new electrical service to new power pedestals, light bollards, light poles, water lines, new dedicated fire line, DDCV backflow preventer and new fire cabinets. A new addition to the marina was the installation of a composite decked floating dock with 12” solid composite dock piling and an aluminum access gangway. Clean fill was brought in to raise the grade to meet the new cap elevation for the owners’ final landscaping plan.
