Completed approximately 400 linear feet of new steel sheet pile seawall, utilizing 45-foot-long coated steel sheets. The seawall was supported by forty (40) 1-3/4" diameter x 40' coated steel tie-back rods connected to forty (40) 8' x 6' x 1' concrete deadmen. A 4' x 3' x 400' reinforced concrete cap with CHROMX 4100 rebar was constructed in alternating 30-foot sections over two days. Following completion of the seawall, two wooden beach access stairways were constructed from the +22.0' NAVD88 elevation at the top of the cap down to +3.0' NAVD88 at the beach, providing improved access to the shoreline.
