After storm damage compromised the North Jetty revetment wall, Shoreline Foundation, Inc. stepped in to restore and reinforce the area. The project included removal of the existing walkway, concrete revetment, and armor stone, followed by installation of 400 LF of steel sheet pile in an oval layout. A 10-foot concrete skirt wall was constructed, along with 840 SY of marine mattress filled with 450 tons of bedding stone, extending 30 feet into the water. SFI then placed 1,650 tons of 48" armor stone for shoreline protection. A new sidewalk with handrails was added, reconnecting to the north pier, and the project was completed with sand dune restoration and native beach plantings.
