Project Milestone: First Pile Installed!

We’re excited to announce that the first of 202 piles is officially in the ground!

This transformative project, led by the Texas General Land Office and partially funded by the State of Texas and the federal government, will bring a brand-new 1,100-foot-long pier spanning nearly 30,500 square feet to Southeast Texas.

Once completed, this pier will serve as a vital asset—boosting the local economy and enhancing recreational opportunities after the 2019 closure of Bolivar Pass.
