Shoreline Foundation, Inc. proudly constructed 1,400 linear feet of elevated boardwalk winding through the pristine mangrove swamp, creating a scenic and accessible pathway for visitors to enjoy the natural environment. The project utilized 354 timber piles (10") for a solid foundation, with pressure-treated framing to ensure long-term durability in a challenging marine setting. To complete the structure, SFI installed lumberock synthetic wood decking, combining the beauty of natural wood with the resilience of advanced composite materials. The result is a low-maintenance, eco-friendly boardwalk designed to provide safe public access while preserving the integrity of the surrounding ecosystem.
