Oak Harbor Bulkhead

This project included the refurbishment of 500 linear feet of steel sheet pile wall and concrete cap. The existing cap was removed, and a new 35’ ZZ 19-700 steel sheet pile wall was installed in front of the original, including along the boat ramp sides. De-watering was required using a sandbag barrier and 4” pump to manage high tides. Two 36” drainage outfalls were extended beyond the new wall alignment, with concrete panels poured around the new locations. A new concrete cap was formed and poured in sections, incorporating both the old and new walls. An existing water flue was also rebuilt and tied into the new drainage system. The site was fully restored after completion.
